The Encompass Development group is a family of organisations dedicated to supporting small and medium sized businesses in achieving their potential. Primary services include bid writing and consultancy, management and leadership training, and employment law and HR consultancy.

Encompass Consultancy

Encompass Consultancy provides bid and tender management support services, as well as engagement with public and private sector supply chains. It comprehensively supports new businesses in building their capacity to engage with public or private sector tender opportunities. Encompass are able to work with local businesses to tender for public sector opportunities worth in excess of £232 billion pounds. Furthermore, this includes the development of systems, policies, and procedures to help the business attract new work and as a result, ensure compliance and strengthen business performance.

Encompass Law

Additionally to this they offer Employment Law and HR support, delivering a comprehensive service to support any business through all aspects of employment law and human resources. Additionally the team offers specialist HR and Employment Law Training, taking place both in-house and in cities throughout the country. As well as this they are able to offer Policy Development and Advice Services. With experience in working with a diverse range of organisations, the team is fully adaptable and can tailor the support given to effectively support the client’s needs.

Encompass Development

Encompass also has a developing training facility, where we are able to offer a range of industry-recognised leadership and management qualifications for learners at all levels, in partnership with local and national colleges. Our tutors and assessors are hand-picked from the industry for their extensive knowledge and creativity, delivering course content which is engaging and relevant to the needs of learners.

In summary, the business has grown to include business consultancy, supporting new start-up businesses and social enterprises. With this, they have been able to give advice on legal structure, through to establishing a brand, or ensuring compliance. Encompass Development Group continues to go from strength to strength and is looking forward to the future ahead.

Encompass Development Group are committed to investing in the local economy through recruiting local talented individuals. They recognise that the six pledges enable them to channel their efforts towards supporting local employment and play a part in creating a single point of call for businesses to access training and skills information.

Encompass Development Group identify that investing in skills and training and local recruitment benefits the local economy and wider community as a whole. Working in partnership with local businesses and communities develops and strengthens relationships and promotes unity. Additionally they recognise that local people have skills and knowledge which is integral to the development of businesses.

The company is fulfilling many of the pledges in different ways: They invest in increasing the skills of their workforce by having a training and development plan in place for staff members. They have two apprentices and are currently in the recruitment process for another three. The company employs three graduates, two from the University of Hull and another from the University of Lincoln.
