Goodwin Development Trust

Goodwin development trust signed up to all six pledges. They see the Skills Pledge benefitting them with workforce development and recruitment as well as supporting their business aims as a training and enterprise supporter. They already deliver 16-24 year old NEET programmes that include access to Functional Skills, Work experience, vocational and employability qualifications. They also deliver 16-18 year old Traineeships and employ several Apprentices.

They believe signing up to the pledge will help reduce youth unemployment in particular, increase GDA and local GDP, help stimulate economic growth and increase broader life chances. Importantly, if you can create just one opportunity for a young person such as volunteering, providing a work placement or traineeship then you may change that person’s life forever!
